Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily design the hysteresis that is set to the detection value of an overheat detecting circuit.
CONSTITUTION: In the overheat detecting circuit 19a disposed between a GND 15 and an input terminal Vin which drives an output transistor TR 10 that drives a load 11, a protective resistance is divided into two pieces 1a and 2. The piece 1a is connected between the terminal Vin and an overheat detecting voltage generating circuit 16a, and the piece 2 is connected between the circuit 16a and the gate terminal of the TR 10. In such a constitution, the hysteresis temperature is variable just by changing the resistance value of one of both pieces 1a and 2.
