Title:
OVERHEAT DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0491618
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sustain performance for a long term and to realize free arrangement of sensor by a constitution wherein previously stored mechanical energy is discharged, upon deformation of an object in a temperature detector, and a sound is produced and received by a remote sound receiver which then converts the sound into an electric signal for detecting overheat.

CONSTITUTION: Upon temperature rise over a set level, a bimetal 1a is inverted and an operational pin 1b responds to be pushed out of a temperature detector 1. Consequently, an actuating lever 2d rotates counterclockwise around a fixed shaft 2h and disenaged from the deceleration rotary blade 2c of a music box. As a result, the deceleration rotary blade 2c is rotated with a power supply 2a to operate a drum and a vibration board 2b thus producing sound. The sound is sensed by a microphone in a sound receiver located while being separated by longer than a predetermined distance from the temperature monitoring point and then converted into an electric signal.
