Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat prevention device capable of more accurately preventing erroneous detection of an overheat state caused by external noise.SOLUTION: In the case where a temperature detected by correspondent temperature-sensitive diodes 11, 12 rises to a predetermined temperature or higher although semiconductor switch elements 13, 14 are turned off, it is determined that the temperature rising is caused by influences of external noise. Even when a temperature equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold is detected by the temperature-sensitive diodes 11, 12 built in the turned-on semiconductor switch elements 13, 14, in the case where a temperature equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold is detected by the temperature-sensitive diodes 11, 12 of the turned-off semiconductor switch elements 13, 14 in the same timing, normal operation is continued as it is without stopping the operation of the turned-on semiconductor switch elements 13, 14.
