For the overlapped glass plate 12, both side edges 10a, 10b of a slip sheet projecting sideways from both sides of a glass plate G of all slip sheets 10, 10, ... for the overlapped glass plate 12 are folded toward an inclining table 22 along both sides of the glass plate G. This configuration generates a drag in the hanging down direction at the top edge 10c of the slip sheet projecting from the top side of the glass plate G. The drag increases the rigidity of the top edge 10c of the sheet 10 and the edge 10c does not hang down. Thus, the top edge 10c of the sheet 10 of the plate 12 is surely held by a suction pad whose suction position is memorized in advance, and the sheet 10 is preferably taken out from a pallet 14.
