Title:
OVERLAY COLOR PROOFING METHOD FOR POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE IMAGE HAVING PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN LAYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0387826
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an improved overlay proof film having no interference of exposure light by forming a colored layer containing a binder resin and a coloring agent on a transparent support and directly adhering a specified photosensitive layer thereon.

CONSTITUTION: A color layer containing a binder resin and one coloring agent in a mixture state is formed on a transparent support such as polyethylene terephthalate having improved adhesion of its surface. The binder resin is a water-based alkali-soluble resin containing no photosensitive diazo or diazide compd. and is included by an enough amt. to bond the component of the color layer to form a uniform film. Then a photosensitive layer containing a diazonium salt or quinone diazide but does not contain the binder or dye or pigment used in the color layer is directly formed on the color layer. The diazonium salt or quinone diazide is included by an enough amt. to make difference according to the image pattern in the photosensitive layer when the layer is exposed to enough energy to form the image.
