Abstract:

To provide an overlay mat capable of preventing a deterioration in designability while preventing pile yarn from being frayed, and a production method for the same.SOLUTION: An overlay mat comprises: a first base fabric that has a top surface provided with pile yarn; a second base fabric that is provided on the undersurface side of the first base fabric; overlock yarn for overlocking ends of the first and second base fabrics; a first sewing thread for sewing up the first and second base fabrics by tying up the overlock yarn from the undersurface side of the second base fabric; and a second sewing thread for tying up the overlock yarn and the first sewing thread at an end of at least either of the first and second base fabrics or on the top surface side of the first base fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
