Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately detect overload by detecting overload condition of a motor and comparing it with the standard voltage and supplying it to a charging and discharging circuit to output a pulse when it exceeds the standard voltage. CONSTITUTION:When detecting the end of a tape of a magnetic recording and reproduction device, the load condition of a motor is detected and th output is applied to the base of a transistor 10, which is actuated by comparing with the first standard voltage A obtained by dividing the power source Va by resistors 12, 13 and it also actuates a transistor 14. The power source Vb is applied to a discharging resistor 16 and a condenser 17 to charge the condenser 17. When this voltage exceeds the second standard voltage of a Zener diode 18, an overload detector signal is generated. This eliminates malfunction due to noise or sudden changes in the power source voltage or load to insure stopping action by detecting the end of a tape.
