Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the overload of a wound-rotor type induction motor by checking the sharing load of the motor for sharing loads by coupling with other motor to be controlled at variable speed. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor 3 controlled by a thyristor Leonard unit and a wound-rotor type induction motor 13 controlled by the secondary resistor 16 are couped to control a load at a variable speed. The Leonard unit 2 is controlled in response to a deviation between a speed reference N* and a detecting speed N. On the other hand, a level detector 17 outputs a down signal D of the resistor 16 when the load current of the motor 3 becomes the rated current or higher, and outputs an up signal U when becoming alpha% of the rated current. Further, a level detector 24 outputs the secondary resistance increase signal OC when the secondary current of the motor 13 increases over the rated value. The output signal OL of an AND circuit 27 becomes a stop command of the motors 3, 13.
