Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of protecting an element against overload, without worsening response by performing forced commutation, without constricting the current when a motor goes into a locked state.
SOLUTION: An overload protector 30 comprises a means (circuit) 32 for deciding a locked state such as when a motor does not substantially rotate when driver acceleration is requested, and an element commutation control means (circuit) 34 for forcibly making a current supply object element among a plurality of switching elements 23 in an inverter 24 commutate, when it is decided that there is a locked state by the locked state deciding means 32.
