The overturn prevention structure for furniture or the like has the first box type body 10 with both side plates 11, a back plate 12 and a bottom plate 13, and a second box type body 20 with both side plates 21, a back plate 22 and a top plate 23. One of the box type bodies 10 and 20 is used as an outer box B, and the other box type body is formed as an inner box A to be assembled in such a state as having both side plates 11 and the back plate 12 housed inside space made of both side plates 11 and the rear plate 12 of the outer box B. Also, the second box body 20 is formed to be capable of being secured against the first box body 10 laid on the upper surface of furniture or the like, in such a state as liftable toward a ceiling.
