In the overvoltage protection element, a conductive coupling element is connected to an insulation separating element, when connection between the coupling element and a second connection contact as well as a second pole of a structuring element for limiting overvoltage is released by heat, so that the insulation separating element is moved between the second connection contact and the second pole of the structuring element for limiting overvoltage.
