The overwrapping packaging method of an article to be packaged, includes a process of: cutting off four corners of a sheet of packaging film corresponding to one article to be packaged; wrapping the packaging film around a body of the article to be packaged; and then bending flaps onto the bottom after bending both end faces inward from the right and left. Here, The four corners of the sheet of packaging film are cut off in such a manner that the bent right and left distal end parts of the sheet of packaging film do not overlap each other when both end faces are bent inward.
