Abstract:
To provide new receptor homolog to ligand named as OX2.
Nucleic acids encoding mammalian (e.g. primate) receptors of OX2, purified proteins and fragments thereof, and antibodies (both polyclonal and monoclonal) are provided. Method for using the compositions for both diagnostic and therapeutic utilities is provided. Method for adjusting physiological function or generation of cell or tissue culture cell is provided. This method includes a process of bringing the cell into contact with agonist or antagonist of mammal OX2RH.
