Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an oxadiazine deriv. which is effective in repelling harmful organisms for plants, especially breeding material of plants (such as fruits, seeds and cuttage).
CONSTITUTION: This compd. is expressed by formula I or its tautomer, each in an isolated state or salt state. In the formula I, A is an unsubstd. or 1 to 4 substd. aromatic or nonaromatic, mono- or bi-heterocyclic group in which 1 to 2 substituents are haloalkyl, cyclopropyl, alkenyl, haloalkoxy, CN, NO2, etc., and 1 to 4 substituents are alkyl, alkoxy or halogen, R is H, alkyl, phenyl- alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, X is N-NO2 or N-CN, and for example, the compd. is 5-(2-chloropyridin-5-yl-methyl)-3-methyl-4-nitroiminoperhydro-1,3,5- oxadiazine. This compd. is obtd. by the reaction of a compd. of formula II with formaldehyde or paraformaldehyde preferably in the presence of a base, or moreover, in the presence of an acid catalyst.
