Abstract:
To provide an exhaust emission control device for purifying exhaust emission by favorable oxidation reaction of particulate matter contained in exhaust emission, simple in structure and lowering the manufacturing cost.
This exhaust emission control device includes: a metallic case of symmetrical shape; a metallic honeycomb disposed in the case and supporting oxidation catalyst; and an exhaust emission dispersing cylinder fitted to an inlet part of the case, wherein a number of through holes are formed in the outer peripheral part opened to the interior of the case and an abutting end part in the exhaust emission dispersing cylinder.
