Title:
OXIDE MAGNETIC MATERIAL AND MAGNETIC DETECTING ELEMENT USING THE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2723082
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a magnetoresistive material, which has a small saturation magnetic field and has a fully large magneto-resistive change even at room temperatures, and a high-resistivity magnetic detecting element using that material.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic detecting element consists of a magneto-resistive effect layer 2 and one group of electrodes 3 provided on the layer 2 and as one example of the layer 2, an oxide magnetic material, which is shown in the following, is used. A base body 1 for forming the layer 2 is constituted of a non-magnetic and insulative material: A1-xA'xMn1-yMyOz. Provided that, the A is at least one element selected from among lanthanoids, Y and Bi, the A' is at least one element selected from among alkaline earth metals and Pb and the M is at least one element selected from between Ni and Cu. Moreover, the (x), the (y) and the (z) are respectively used on the conditions of 0<x, y≤0.5 and 2.5≤z≤3.
