Abstract:
To provide a mineral composition for producing a mineral foam using a residual material which foam has temperature stability higher than that of a foam formed from classical glass, exhibits good compressibility similar to that of a glass foam and can be once compressed up to about 30% while maintaining storage stability.
The mineral composition contains, by mass, 10 to 32% Si, 4 to 10% Al, 2.5 to 15% Ca, 1 to 12% Me (Me is Fe and/or Mn and/or Cr and/or Ti and/or V), 1 to 7.5% Na, 0.5 to 5% Mg, 0.3 to 8% K, the balance oxygen and slight amounts of optional inevitable elements.
