Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an oxide superconductor having a high critical temp. Tc and capable of being integrated with a substrate, etc., without deteriorating characteristics by specifying the compsn. of copper multiple oxide contg. Pb, Bi or Tl, Sr, Ca and A (Y, La, Nd, etc.).
CONSTITUTION: This oxide superconductor is represented by formula I (where 0<p≤0.4, 0<q≤0.30 and 9.5≤r≤10.65) or formula II (where 0<p≤0.6, 0<q≤0.30 and 9.5≤r≤11.05). In the formulae I, II, A is one or more among Y, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, HO, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu. This oxide superconductor ≥1,000K critical temp. Tc owing to three CuO2 layers contained in a unit crystal structure and can be integrated even with a carbon substrate or fiber without lowering the mechanical strength of the substrate or fiber because it can be synthesized even in an inert atmosphere or an atmosphere of oxygen having very low concn. This superconductor is suitable for use as a material for a magnetic coil for a nuclear fusion reactor, etc., a power-transmission line, a Josephson device, etc.
