PURPOSE: To obtain the subject adhesive excellent in instantaneous pressure- sensitive adhesiveness and green strength by selecting an adhesive including a specified organopolysiloxane resin, a specified diorganopolysiloxane and a specified ketoximosilane and having specified properties. CONSTITUTION: This adhesive comprises (A) a solid OH-functional orgaopolysiloxane resin containing R3SiO1/2 siloxane units [wherein R is a (halo)hydrocarbon group] and SiO4/2 siloxane units in a molar ratio of 0.5/1 to 1.2/1; (B) a diorganopolysiloxane polymer having Si-bonded OH terminal groups and a viscosity (at 25°C) of 100-500,000 Pa.s (the weight ratio A:B is 40:60 to 75:25); a specified amount of a ketoximosilane represented by the formula: R\'4-ySiXy [wherein R\' is a 1-10C hydrocarbon group or the like; X is -OH=C (R")R"\' (wherein R" and R"\' are each a 1-8C alkyl or the like); and y is 3-4]; and, optionally, a catalyst for cure acceleration and is endowed with e.g. properties of being a non-slump solid at room temperature and of forming a tack-free elastomer when cured.
