Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a safe and sanitrary oxygen absorbent having a sufficient oxygen absorbing speed.
CONSTITUTION: The oxygen absorbent consists of gallic acid and an alkali compd. and, as the alkali compd., sodium carbonate is pref. This oxygen absorbent is accelerated in oxygen absorbing reaction by the presence of water and can be used in an aq. soln. state and a powdery state.
