Abstract:
To provide an oxygen concentrator equipped with a portable oxygen concentration unit while enabling a nitrogen desorption operation to be executed proactively by using a negative pressure swing adsorption method, and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: In an oxygen concentrator 300, a portable oxygen concentration unit comprises: a compressor; an adsorption part for adsorbing nitrogen by an adsorbent, and concentrating and separating oxygen; a product tank for storing the oxygen separated by the adsorption part; an oxygen supply part for supplying the oxygen stored in the product tank; and a nitrogen discharge part for discharging the nitrogen adsorbed by the adsorption part. A stationary part 200 includes a vacuum pump 210 and a connection mechanism 240 for connecting the nitrogen discharge part and the vacuum pump 210. The portable oxygen concentration unit is attachably/detachably provided to the stationary unit 200. When the portable oxygen concentration unit is connected to the stationary unit 200, the nitrogen discharged by the nitrogen discharge part is guided to the vacuum pump 210 through the connection mechanism 240.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
