To provide an oxygen cylinder stand which enables an oxygen cylinder stand to be easily attached to and removed from a collapsible wheelchair without used of screws and tools.

A frame extended backward from a lower frame and a frame branching vertically from the lower frame are located below the rear of a collapsible wheelchair 20 fitted with main and auxiliary wheels, and this backwardly extended part serves as a travel assist bar 24, into which a cylindrical element 7 is inserted, with a post 6 vertically mounted on the cylindrical element 7. Annular elements 8, 9 into which an oxygen cylinder 30 fits are mounted respectively at the top and bottom of the post 6 and in appropriate positions at which they can hold the cylinder 30, and a freely expansible hook is attached to the top end of the post 6 and hooked to the handle part 22 of the grip 21 of the collapsible wheelchair 20, and the oxygen cylinder 30 is held by the annular elements 8, 9 attached to the post 6.
