PURPOSE: To obtain an oxygen electrode and a biosensor using the oxygen electrode which are used to measure the concentration of a gas oxygen dissolved in a liquid and a manufacture thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A patterned electrode is formed on a resin sheets and the outer circumferential part of the resin sheet 5 is covered with a paraffin sheet 7. A paper 8 impregnated with an electrolyte is placed in an area surrounded by the paraffin sheet 7 and the paper 8 and the paraffin sheet 7 are covered with a gas permeable film 9. Thus, an oxygen electrode is obtained and an enzyme immobilized film 10 is formed on the gas permeable film 9 of the oxygen electrode to obtain a boiosensor. This production method achieves lower cost of products with components being inexpensive and allows application for disposable types.
