Title:
OXYGEN ENRICHING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01157405
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily enrich oxygen at a low cost by collecting the oxygen in air around a magnet made of a superconductive material by the magnetic force of the magnet, heating the oxygen to weaken the paramagnetism, separating the oxygen from around the magnet, and collecting the oxygen. CONSTITUTION:A fan 2 is provided on one end of a cylinder 1, a cylindrical net 4 consisting of nonmagnetic material is arranged in the cylinder 1 so that it extends in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder 1, and plural magnets 5 made of a superconductive material are provided in the net 4. The power source is then applied, hence the magnets 5 are magnetized, a heater 6 is heated, the fan 2 is driven, the flow of air is straightened by a flow straightening plate 3, the air is introduced into the cylinder 1, and the oxygen in the air is collected around the magnets 5 by the magnetic force of the magnets 5. The collected oxygen is then heated by the heater 6 to weaken its paramagnetism, separated from around the magnets 5, and introduced into an oxygen collecting cylinder 7. Oxygen-enriched air is obtained in this way.
