To provide an oxygen manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of the same by which high purity gaseous oxygen or an oxygen enriched gas is taken out using a ceramic membrane having oxygen ion conductivity or mixed conductivity of oxygen ion conductivity and electron conductivity without the leakage of a gas and a method of manufacturing oxygen.
The ceramic membrane 1 having the oxygen ion conductivity or the mixed conductivity of the oxygen ion conductivity and the electron conductivity and a supporting member 3 supporting the ceramic membrane 1 and having a gas flowing part 3a through which the gas passed through the ceramic membrane 1 is made to flow are arranged via a joining material 2 and the ceramic membrane 1 and the supporting member 3 are air tightly joined to each other by heating them to equal to or above the melting temperature of the joining material 2 while applying pressing force between the ceramic membrane 1 and the supporting member 3.
