To provide a device for efficiently producing pressure liquefied oxygen and oxygen gas by utilizing discharged fluid and by-product fluid in a nitrogen producing process without affecting the primary nitrogen producing process.

This oxygen producing device comprises (1) extracting a part of oxygen-rich liquefied air of a nitrogen producing device from a nitrogen rectifying tower or a nitrogen rectifying tower condenser, and introducing the same to an intermediate stage of a sub-rectifying tower 8 having a reboiler 9 at its lower part, (2) forming the liquefied air in the reboiler 9 by introducing the compressed air to the lower reboiler 9 of the sub-rectifying tower, returning a part of the liquefied air to the nitrogen rectifying tower, and supplying the rest to a part of the sub-rectifying tower 8 as reflux liquid, and (3) producing oxygen from the lower part of the sub-rectifying tower 8.
