Abstract:
To provide a device and a method for efficiently removing oxygen at a low cost.
This device for removing oxygen in the polymerization system by introducing nitrogen into a liquid polymerization system in a reactor comprises a nitrogen inlet port disposed at the bottom of the reactor, and an agitator having a rotating shaft and blades where the lower end of the blade is close to the bottom of the reactor and the length of the blade in the rotating shaft direction is about ≥1/2 of the inside height of the reactor. Nitrogen introduced from the nitrogen inlet port is dispersed in the polymerization system by stirring inside the reactor with the agitator.
