Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length measuring device capable of sufficiently accurately grasping the length of an oxygen supply pipe that becomes short over time accompanying with oxygen cleaning of a fusion furnace.SOLUTION: A length measuring device according to the present invention, which is a device for measuring the length of an oxygen supply pipe provided at an oxygen cleaner, comprises: an inner cylinder 1 connected to the oxygen supply pipe on a tip end thereof; a transmitter 5a transmitting a microwave to the oxygen supply pipe connected to the inner cylinder 1; a receiver receiving the microwave reflected by the tip end of the oxygen supply pipe and returning to the receiver; an outer cylinder 2 provided to cover at least part of the inner cylinder 1; an oxygen introduction port 2e provided in the outer cylinder 2; and a plurality of through-holes 1d provided in portions of the inner cylinder 1 covered with the outer cylinder 2, oxygen introduced into the outer cylinder 2 from the oxygen introduction port 2e being supplied into the inner cylinder 1 via the through-holes 1d.
