Abstract:

To provide a polymer-siRNA carrier and a method for producing the polymer-siRNA carrier high in siRNA delivery efficiency to a target site in a living body, permitting efficient delivery of a therapeutic siRNA to the target site such as cancer tissue in the living body even with administration of comparatively low concentration and usable in a wide range for the treatment of various diseases.

The polymer-siRNA carrier has a structure A-B in which a polymer (A) and a siRNA (B) are connected simultaneously by charge coupling and biodegradable covalent bonding, wherein (A) is a polymer having positive charge and a functional group, and (B) is a siRNA having a functional group at one end or both ends thereof.
