Abstract:
To provide a POS system capable of reducing settlement time of a customer.SOLUTION: A POS system comprises a registration device which registers a commodity to be purchased by a customer through operation of a staff, and a plurality of settlement devices operated by the customer for settlement processing according to registration data on the commodity. The registration device includes transmission means for, when one available settlement device of the plurality of settlement devices is selected based on the priority, while selection prohibition is controlled so as not to select a settlement device in use or in trouble at least among the plurality of settlement devices, transmitting registration data on a commodity registered so that the selected one settlement device can perform settlement processing for the customer. The settlement device includes: reception means for receiving the registration data on a commodity transmitted from the transmission means; and guide means for providing guidance on a target settlement device for settlement processing for the customer on the basis of the received registration data on a commodity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
