Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply manufacture a joint member consisting of a sleeve member and a nipple member by punch working of once, by inserting the nipple member into an insert-through hole of a bottom part of a bottomed cylindrical sleeve member, and allowing a chuck and a punch attached to both ends of the nipple member to approach each other. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical nipple member 2 is brought to sliding fit to an insert-through hole 3b provided on a bottom part 3a of a sleeve member 3. Thereafter, the nipple member 2 is placed in a recessed part 52a of a split mold 52 of a chuck 15, and also, the sleeve member 3 is fitted in between a holding pin 53 in a recessed part 52b of a sleeve holding tool 62 and a projection 52c and a split mold 51 of the chuck 15 is lowered, and the chuck 15 and the sleeve holding tools 61, 62 are closed. Subsequently, a punch 16 is made adjacent to the chuck 15 side, annular projecting parts 2a, 2b are formed in the nipple member 2 and the sleeve member 3 is fixed to the nipple member 2, and a joint member 1 consisting of the nipple member 2 and the sleeve member 3 is formed.
