Abstract:
A rotor blade control device for a propfan-turboprop unit fitted with two contrarotating propfan rotors has a number of double-toothed planet wheels which are fixed in a rotatably mounted web, and the web is supported on the housing side via planet elements mounted on one of the propfan rotors. The two sets of teeth of the planet wheels are operationally connected to the screw setting rings. A relative movement of the web with respect to the housing can be achieved via an actuating motor, the result being that the blades of two contrarotating rows of blades can be swivelled. Due to the arrangement according to the invention, the rotor blades can be controlled even if there are no fixed housing parts to provide support.
