Abstract:
PURPOSE:To asymmetrically develop a pattern and/or a letter on the front and reverse faces of a towel cloth by using a yarn-sheet printing technique of pile warp. CONSTITUTION:Pile warps 1, 2 are divided into two groups of yarn-sheets and separately printed. Either one of the two groups of printed pile warps is arranged on the front side and the other group is arranged on the reverse side of a towel cloth. A towel cloth having piled texture on both surfaces is woven with the above printed warps in combination with ground warps 3,4 and wefts 5 to asymmetrically develop the printed pattern and/or letter of the pile warps on the front and reverse faces of the towel cloth.
