Abstract:
PURPOSE:To relay a multiple address frame quickly to an object transmission opposite party by interconnecting plural network data remote location via an exchange network so as to confirm the transmission opposite party to which a frame is to be relayed and to decrease an undesired track. CONSTITUTION:A repeater 10 connecting to a network has an address table section 15 in which network address information and a repeater of a transmission opposite party are made cross-reference. A multiple address frame is fetched from a network to which a LAN side transmission reception section 11 is connected. Based on the address table section 15, a repeater corresponding to the network address information in the multiple address frame is decided. The multiple address frame is relayed from an exchange network side transmission reception section 12 to the said repeater 10 and a reply to the multiple address frame is received from a repeater of other network being the transmission opposite party.
