Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of energy transmission, and to drive the engine of a hybrid car at its maximum efficiency point even if a running condition changes. SOLUTION: The hybrid car has the engine 11, a first motor M1, a second motor M2 connected to the output shaft 12 of the engine 11, a gear unit composed at least of first to third rotation elements, a first controller 33, and a second controller 34. To the first rotation element, each rotation of the engine 11 and the second motor M2 is inputted. To the second rotation element, the rotation of the first motor M1 is inputted. The rotation of the third rotation element is outputted to the output shaft 16 of the gear unit. The first controller 33 controls the speed of the engine by controlling the first motor M1, when the car proceeds backwards. The second controller 34 controls the second motor M2 corresponding to its throttle opening, when the car proceeds backwards.
