Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a nonwoven fabric excellent in electrolyte absorbing property and electrolyte keeping property despite of a low weighing capacity by forming a web of a specific slurry including organic fiber, and subjecting the web to a corona discharging treatment and a calendering treatment. CONSTITUTION:A main component includes split type composite fiber where a polyolefin polymer and an ethylene vinyl alcohol polymer are bonded to each other, or organic fiber composed of the composite fiber and polyolefin fiber, where the composite fiber is split by a disaggregator in water to thus generate extra fine fiber, and dispersed into a slurry (dispersion liquid A). Otherwise, the dispersion liquid A and water dispersion liquid of polyolefin fiber are mixed together, thus obtaining a slurry. Subsequently, the slurry is subjected to a wet type paper-making method, thereby forming a web, followed by (i) calendering after applying a corona discharging treatment to either or both surfaces of the web, or (ii) applying a corona discharging treatment to either or both surfaces after calendering the web, thus obtaining desired nonwoven fabric.
