PURPOSE: To reduce component materials, improve the workability and improve the appearance of finished ceiling surface.

CONSTITUTION: Main ceiling bars 6 are suspended in parallel to each other with hangers 5 fitted via support fittings 4 to hanger bolts 3 suspended via an anchor from a ceiling slab. Also, a main ceiling bar 6 and an auxiliary ceiling bar 60 are jointed to each other with a joint fitting 7, thereby forming a grid section 8. Then, a panel engagement bar 9 is extended between the opposite main ceiling bars 6 of the grid section 8. Also, an outward engagement suspension piece 14 at one end of a ceiling panel 10 is coupled to the panel engagement groove 6d of the auxiliary ceiling bar 60, while an inward engagement suspension piece 16 at the other end of the panel 10 is coupled to the engagement projection row 9b of the bar 9. According to this construction, a plurality of ceiling panels 10 can be laid within each grid section 8, and the reduction of component materials and the simplification of workability can be embodied.
