PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust gas reflux device for a V-type engine which reduces the overall length of an exhaust gas reflux pipe, easily ensures a disposing space for an exhaust gas reflux amount regulating valve, improves space efficiency, reduces weight, and is formed in a compact state.
CONSTITUTION: An intake air distributing pipe 22 to intercouple a throttle body and surge tank parts 26A and 26B on the respective sides of manifolds 24A and 24B on the respective sides is disposed externally of one end in an axial direction of a cylinder above cylinder banks 10A and 10B on the respective sides. A cooling water collecting pipe 32 to collect together cooling water flowing out from cylinder heads 6A and 6B on the respective sides is disposed below the intake air distributing pipe. An exhaust gas reflux pipe 34 is provided having the starting end side coupled to one end, in the axial direction of a cylinder, of one of exhaust gas manifolds 30A and 30B on the respective sides disposed externally of the cylinder banks 10A and 10B on the respective sides and the terminal side coupled to branch pipes 28A and 28B on the respective sides of the intake air manifolds on the respective sides. An exhaust gas reflux amount regulating valve 36 is disposed in the middle of the exhaust gas reflux pipe between the intake air distributing pipe and the cooling water collecting pipe.
