PURPOSE: To prevent the performance of a refrigerant evaporator from deteriorating by throttling airflow inside an air duct using a throttle means thus increasing the speed of the air, and forcibly feeding the speeded-up air into the refrigerant evaporator installed inside the air duct, thus blowing off condensed water that attaches to the refrigerant evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: This air-conditioner cools airflow inside an air duct using a refrigerant evaporator 4 installed in an air duct. In this case, a throttle means 9 for increasing the speed of air by throttling the flow of air inside the air duct is disposed upstream of the refrigerant evaporator 4. The air speeded up by the throttle means 9 is forced to migrate along the upstream end face of the refrigerant evaporator 4, thus blowing off condensed water that attaches to the refrigerant evaporator 4. The throttle means 9 is formed by two throttle dampers, for example, and the dampers are displaced to positions (I)-(III) in sequence with the elapse of time, thereby shifting the air from one end to the other on the front side of the refrigerant evaporator 4 and evenly blowing off the condensed water.
