Abstract:
The description relates to a honing tool which oscillates at its natural frequency when ultrasonically excited. The free length is a whole multiple of half the ultrasonic oscillation wavelength. The formation of a working outline (KA?) in the excited state, formed by a cylindrical region (KZ?) and a conical region (KK?) succeeding it towards the free end (40) of the honing tool (1) is obtained in the position of rest by a correction outline (KV?) deviating therefrom which takes account of the curve of the amplitude of the oscillation component in the radial direction.
