PURPOSE: To save weight of a balcony wall panel, simplify construction work and shorten construction period.
CONSTITUTION: A steel frame 3 is imbedded in a mortar panel 2 that has glass fiber reinforced cement as its main component, and a balcony wall panel 1 is composed. An external surface of the steel frame 3 is coated with elastic material 7, and variation with expansion or contraction of the gap between the steel frame 3 and the glass fiber reinforcement cement is absorbed by the elastic material 7. A foamed styrol panel 4 is imbedded in the mortar panel 2. Installation of the mortar panel 2 is accomplished by bolting two horizontal frame members 3b1 and 3b2 that compose the steel frame 3 with fasteners 9 and 10 to a balcony floor beam 11.
