PURPOSE: To improve operability by connecting the magnetic head and the connector using a hard and soft synthetic plate made by joining a flexible printed plate(FPC) between a part of printed plates.

CONSTITUTION: A pattern 30 is formed on a head substrate 29, a pattern 31 is formed on an FPC 24 and the joined part of the pattern 30 is gold plated. By thermopressing both plated parts the substrate 29 and the FPC 24 are connected. Then, a throughhole 28 is formed on the plural end parts of the pattern 31 of the FPC and a throughhole 28 is also formed on printed plates 22 and 23. Then, a pattern 32 to be connected to the hole 28 is formed on the plate 22. Thus, the patterns 32A and 32B of the plate 22 are connected to the patterns 31A and 31B of the FPC 24 via the holes 28A and 28B and the holes 28C and 28D of the FPC 24. As this connection is operated by insering solder into the hole 28, the increase of the number of patterns, positioning and soldering work are made unnecessary.
