Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an aluminum alloy fin material for manufacturing an aluminum alloy-made heat exchanger having excellent thermal efficiency and high strength by a brazing process and to provide a manufacturing method using this fin material.

CONSTITUTION: This Al alloy fin material is provided by using an Al alloy containing 0.03-1.2wt.% Si, 0.05-2.0wt.% Fe, 0.6-2.0wt.% Mn as the core material and cladding an Al alloy brazing filler metal containing 7.0-12.0wt.% Si, 0.1-8.0wt.% Cu and further, one or more kinds among 0.5-6.0wt.% Zn, 0.002-0.3wt.% In, 0.002-0.3wt.% Sn on both surfaces of the core material. Further, this fin material is brazed at 570-585°C, which is used for the objective heat exchanger.
