PURPOSE: To provide an automatic mixer for reducing a thermal stratification in a pool when the fluid of the second temperature higher than the first temperature of the liquid in the pool, is introduced into the pool.
CONSTITUTION: A passive mixer comprises a bent conduit extending into a pool 28 for introducing the fluid into the pool 28, and a jet pump 76 installed in the pool 28. A housing 78 of the jet pump 76 has an inlet 80 at one end, and an outlet 82 at the opposite end. An injection nozzle 84 is installed in such manner that the bent conduit and the flow are communicated with each other, and the injection nozzle 84 receives the fluid from the conduit 66, and is installed in the inlet 80 of the housing for injecting the fluid in the longitudinal, into the housing 78. Thereby the liquid is transported from the inlet 80 to the outlet 82 through the housing 78 by a pump, and the liquid is circulated in the pool 28.
