PURPOSE: To improve the rigidity to support an article to be packaged, and improve the cushioning effect against an impact and durability by a method wherein when right and left cylindrical support parts are respectively erected, respective openings for fitting are formed, and at the same time, the internal bottom parts and internal wall parts of the openings are connected to each other.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of packaging of an article 15 to be packaged, respective cylindrical supporting parts 3a, 3b are erected, and the article 15 to be packaged is fitted in respective openings 8a, 8b for fitting respectively. Then, respective restricting plates 13a, 13b respectively restrict respective displacements in the vertical, longitudinal and lateral directions of the article 15 to be packaged. Also, respective internal bottom parts 9a, 9b are connected to respective internal wall parts 10a, 10b, and at the same time, these are respectively connected to respective connecting parts 9c, 10c. For this reason, even when a vibration is applied in the vertical direction, the weight of the article 15 to be packaged can be well supported. In addition, respective cushioning spaces 11a, 11b, 12a are formed by respective connecting parts 9c, 10c, and even when an impact force is applied from the vertical, longitudinal and lateral directions, the impact force can be cushioned, and the article 15 to be packaged can be protected.
