PURPOSE: To provide high shock absorbing effect and require not so much expense for maintaining a shock absorbing fence.
CONSTITUTION: A clip to press the crossing between one rope 51 and the other rope 52 turned back therefrom against a shock absorbing fence has a mainbody 10 provided with mutually opposed press-contact pieces 11, 12 and through-holes 111, 121 penetrating through the respective press-contact pieces, a bolt 20 with the thread portion 22 formed at one end and the wedged head 21 formed at the other end to be put through the press-contact pieces and a nut 30 mounted on the thread portion 22 of the bolt 20. For the mainbody 10, grooves 15, 16 are formed along the press-contact pieces 11, 12 between the press-contact pieces to store ropes 51, 52 therein. For the bolt 20, the thrusting face 211 is formed on the wedged head 21 to slantly press-contact the rope 51 stored in the mainbody 10.
