Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce electrical rates for a unit volume of hot water by a method wherein the hot water having a temperature of a boiling point of water or below is obtained by a solid heat storage device by using a midnight power and then this hot water is heated quickly and efficiently by an electric heater by using a normal power so that hot water to drink be obtained.

CONSTITUTION: A power supply device 11 being controlled by a control device 10, a midnight power is supplied to an electric heater 7 of a heat storage device 1 and thereby a solid heat storage body 5 is heated so that heat storage be executed. A blower fan 8 being controlled by the control device 10 in the daytime, air is circulated by a circulating air passage 9 and heated by the solid heat storage body 5 so as to be made warm air. Moreover, water is supplied to a passage 16A for heat exchange from a water supply pipe 17 and made to flow through a heat exchanger 12 by driving a pump 18 and thereby it is subjected to heat exchange with the warm air in the circulating air passage 9 so as to be made hot water. The hot water is supplied to a first hot water storage tank 15 from a passage 16B for heat exchange. By driving a pump 21 connected to a circulation passage 20 for supplying hot water to drink, on the other hand, the hot water in the first hot water storage tank 15 is supplied to a second hot water storage tank 22 through a hot water supply pipe 23 and a hot water supply valve 24.
