In the pachinko ball polishing machine in which pachinko balls B are lifted while they are polished by pouring pachinko balls B and an abrasive material P from the bottom of a lifting pipe 2, a selection device 8 is mounted at the upper portion of the lifting pipe 2 to separate pachinko balls B and the abrasive material P, and the separated abrasive material P is returned to the bottom of the lifting pipe 2 using a circulation pipe 14 for recycling, a washing device 16 which guides the abrasive material P to wash and stores the washed abrasive material P is installed at the middle of the circulation pipe 14. In the pachinko ball polishing machine, a prescribed amount of the abrasive material P necessary for polishing pachinko balls B and a spare amount of the abrasive material P which is to be stored in the washing device 15 are stored in circulation, and a cleaned abrasive material P in the washing device 16 which has been washed and a contaminated abrasive material P are periodically changed for recycling.
