To prevent occurrence of a defect.SOLUTION: A game machine includes: setting value setting means for executing a setting value changing process for setting to any one of a plurality of setting values having different advantageous degrees; game progress control means for controlling progress of the game in accordance with the set value; and setting value reference means for executing a setting value reference process for referring to the set value when triggered by a predetermined operation. The game progress control means stops progress of the game while the setting value changing process and the setting value reference process are executed.
