Title:
PACIFIER AND CUSHION FOR PACIFIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000245811
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem of causing a rough dry skin or the like by pressing the skin in contact with a shield-shaped portion by projecting a nipple portion from the vicinity of the center of one side of the shield-shaped portion and projecting a handle portion from the vicinity of the center of the other side.

The pacifier is made up of a nipple portion 2, a shield-shaped portion 1 and a handle portion 3, and the nipple portion 2 is sucked and put into the mouse by a suckling in place of a nipple. Therefore, it is formed of a soft rubber or the like. The shield-shaped portion 1 is formed of a plastic or the like to prevent a suckling from swallowing the pacifier by accident. In this case, a cushioning portion 4 is formed in the shield-shaped portion 1 on the projection side of the nipple portion 2. The cushioning portion 4 is formed of a softer material than the shield-shaped portion 1, namely a sponge, a urethane resin, a puff, cotton or the like. The cushioning portion 4 is furnished with an adhesion portion or connection portion such as a seal, a button or the like to attach to and detach from the shield-shaped portion 1 on one side for ease of attachment and detachment.
